Sunday 27th May 2012 at 6.30 p.m.- An evening of Song with Arundel and Barber

Acclaimed baritone Richard Arundel accompanied by pianist Julian Barber will perform a varied programme to include works by Schumann, Mendelssohn, Quilter and Vaughan Williams.
Richard Arundel (baritone) started his singing career as a young treble in St Wulfram's choir. He then joined the choir of St John’s College Cambridge where he was Head Chorister. He continued his education at Oakham School in Rutland, Christ Church Oxford and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He is now a free-lance singer working with choirs and opera companies in and around London. On stage his operatic roles have included the title role in Tchaikovsky's Yevgeny Onegin, Marcello in La Boheme and Enrico in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor.


Julian Barber (pianist) studied at the London College of Music where he won the Holmes piano prize. He has worked as a chamber musician in London, performing at St Martin-in-the-Fields and Classic FM. Julian works for the Czech Cultural Centre performing at the Czech Centrum in Bratislava, Budapest, Llubljana, London, Paris, Vienna and Zagreb, and also regularly performs at the Hungarian Centre in Prague.
The venue is the Parish Church of St Wulfram Grantham.



Tickets are available for sale at The Guildhall Box Office, Fox's Music shop, Westgate, the Parish office in St Wulfram's and on the door. Tickets cost £10, children are free.



Saturday 7th July 2012 - An evening at Grantham House

The trust is most grateful to Mr and Mrs Herdman for allowing the trust to hold this fund raising event in their house in Castlegate. Tickets will cost £25 each and it is anticipated that the event will sell out quickly. If you would like to receive an inviation please provide your details in the Enquiry form. Invitations will be sent out after Easter.
